Police Community Volunteers

There’s a huge sense of achievement when you offer your time to become a Police Community Volunteer.  To show our appreciation of the commitment you show to the constabulary, we’ll give you full, ongoing training that gives you great transferable skills.  As well as benefiting from the whole police experience itself, you’ll be making yourself an attractive candidate for employers – learning about teamwork, managing others and solving problems are just the start.

You’ll be doing something valuable and helping keep the county safe which gives you a real sense of pride and satisfaction. The personal rewards don’t stop there, as you’ll be notching up incredible experiences, additional skills, and getting as much out of it as the community you’ll be serving.  In terms of providing a sense of achievement and as a way of giving back, there’s nothing to match it.

Because ours isn’t a big metropolitan force, you’ll see the impact of everything you do on the local community.  They’ll be safer because you’re around.  For many, that makes volunteering a life-changing experience.
